Aaron McGinley is a licensed therapist based in Asheville, North Carolina, specializing in helping couples and families strengthen connection, balance responsibilities, and navigate the emotional and logistical load of caregiving. A Fair Play Certified Facilitator, Aaron blends the evidence-based structure of the Fair Play system with a warm, down-to-earth approach rooted in humor, compassion, and lived experience.

As a dad of a child with a rare medical condition, Aaron brings a personal understanding of the invisible labor and emotional toll that accompany complex family care. In his counseling practice, Eye of the Storm, he integrates Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and neurodiversity-informed frameworks to help partners rebuild teamwork and rediscover joy—even in the midst of chaos.

Aaron also leads workshops and trainings for parents, hospital staff, and organizations seeking to support families under stress, with a focus on communication, equity, and resilience. His work centers around one belief: love works best when life feels fair.
