Dr. Cammy is a PhD, licensed practitioner with fellowship training in medical family therapy. With over a decade of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, she is dedicated to helping partners navigate relationship challenges with clarity, connection, and fairness.

A certified EMDR therapist and expert in trauma-informed care, Dr. Cammy creates highly individualized plans to support couples in strengthening their relationships—both as a unit and as individuals. She integrates Fair Play, Gottman Methods, and EMDR, offering a dynamic approach that helps couples redistribute invisible labor, improve communication, and restore emotional and physical intimacy.

Dr. Cammy helps couples navigate the emotional and logistical complexities of modern partnerships, particularly around the division of labor, emotional load, and fairness in relationships. She has worked with clients facing challenges such as grief/loss, illness, infidelity, violence, fertility struggles, and major life transitions—all of which can intensify existing inequalities at home. Using Fair Play, she guides couples in restructuring household roles, fostering deeper mutual respect, and creating sustainable systems that allow both partners to feel seen, valued, and supported.

Clients describe Dr. Cammy as insightful, structured, hopeful, and good-humored. She is a nationally recognized clinical supervisor, EMDR-certified therapist and consultant, and the author of the bestselling book Healing Trauma Together: A Compassionate Guide to Building Trust, Fostering Resilience, and Discovering Joy in Your Relationship, along with several peer-reviewed articles.

Whether you’re looking to restore balance in your relationship, reduce resentment, or redefine fairness in your home, Dr. Cammy provides the tools and support to help you and your partner build a more sustainable, fulfilling partnership.
